Everything In-Between

2017 has come to a close. Which means adventure goal setting for 2018 is in full swing! Most of us outdoor enthusiasts are eager to get a start on our 52 Hike Challenge or are looking forward to completing SoCal Hiker’s Six Pack of Peaks or the new 10K Women Trail Project sponsored by Hike It Baby. Well, I’m excited to announce another new challenge for 2018 created by yours truly and hosted by Mountain Chicks. The Everything In-Between Challenge.

The EIB Challenge is for anyone looking to explore the beautiful trails found in SoCal. Here’s more about the challenge from the EIB website:

SoCal boasts some of the best hiking trails in the country. From the mountains of the San Gabriels, to the deserts of Joshua Tree and all the beaches along the coastline, the trails here never disappoint. And we want to encourage you to see all of these amazing SoCal trails; from Santa Barbara to San Diego!

Mountain Chicks SoCal Ambassadors have picked 12 trails for individuals to complete over the course of 12 months starting January 1. This can be completed once a month over a year, daily over 12 days or anything in between. Individuals can post photos from their hike to the Mountain Chicks SoCal Chapter page and/or on Instagram for a chance to be featured on the Mountain Chicks Instagram (@mtnchicks).

Individuals who complete the Challenge will get a special Mountain Chicks SoCal “everything in-between” sticker. Additionally, individual buttons will be given for each trail completed. All items are redeemable at an official Mountain Chicks SoCal hike.

Trails include the beautiful Inspiration Point in Santa Barbara, Sunset Peak in the Angeles National Forest, Black Star Canyon Falls in Orange County and Cedar Creek Falls in San Diego to name a few. I hope you’ll join me in completing the Everything In-Between Challenge in 2018!

Hike safe, and see you on the trails.
