The Pink Hat Hiker

Hello world! It’s been a minute since I’ve run a personal blog, but I thought I’d jump on the bandwagon with a bunch of my fellow Mountain Chicks who also run blogs! So here I am.

Unlike blogs I’ve done in the past, figuring out the name of this one was easy! A few months ago, while supporting a, now former, friend at her Grand Opening promotional event, Adelaide picked out theย ugliest pink Lorna Jane hate I’d ever seen. Not only that, but it said “Work It” on the front. “Work It?” Really? I did not want it. But, I had told Adelaide she could pick one out for me (Mostly because she had originally picked out the navy blue “Tom Boy” hat).

Since then, I’ve come to love my hat. It’s part of my trail essentials. It’s so bright that people can see me from a mile away! That, and I’ve become known as the “Pink Hat Hiker.” And you know, I work it on the trails each and every time I opt outside!
